Quaker parrots (Myiopsitta monachus) come from South America
where they are native to Brazil Paraguay, and Uruguay.
There are common varieties that can be found throughout the Americas.
Quaker Parrots are also known as the Monk Parrot and the Grey-breasted
Parakeet. They are about 11-14 inches in size, have a stocky big-parrot
look, and are quite loving and playful. A
