The Moluccan Cockatoo (Cacatua moluccensis also known as
Salmon-crested Cockatoo) is native to eastern
Indonesia. It is the largest of the white cockatoos. With its
pinkish feathers peachy highlights, it also has yellow on the underwing
and underneath area of the tail feathers. The large crest is its most
notable attribute that can be raised and lowered as mood and
surroundings change. Very affectionate and loving companions, these
birds make lifelong family members able live 70+ years. A
