Alexandrines!
The Alexandrine Parakeet or Alexandrian Parrot (Psittacula eupatria)
was named after Alexander the Great, who was thought to have carried
them into Europe. They are about 24 inches in length when fully grown,
half or more consists of the beautiful tail. After age three, the males
develop a dark ring around the neck and a pink band on the back of the
neck. A
