Meyers Parrot!

Poicephalus meyeri was the second parrot we fell in love with many years ago. They have a striking color, a wonderful disposition, and are on the quiet side. Their origin is African, along with the Senegal, Cape and Congo African Grey parrots. Meyers parrots are talkers that can live upwards of 35 years. Meet our Meyers flock!

This is Cleo. She's named after a famous woman from one of our favorite authors.
She's very inquisitive, and has a thing for hair (she likes to PULL it!)
She's keeping a close eye on that camera.
Meet Patrick. He's also named for the character in a novel by our favorite author.
He will wave back when properly greeted. Patrick knows how handsome he is...
