The Avicultural Society of America is the oldest existing organization of
aviculturists. Founded in New York in 1927, its membership extends to people
worldwide. The ASA provides a forum to educate its members and the public about
best avian practice, and provide a cohesive voice on topics of interest to its
members and to aviculture.
