MAP Certified Aviary

The Model Avicultural Program is a voluntary certification process to ensure aviaries operate in accordance with standard guidelines developed by leaders in the aviculture field. MAP certification has been bestowed upon not only aviaries such as DJ Feathers, but also several zoos and wildlife parks.

Part of the process requires annual inspection by an accredited veterinarian. We are pleased to learn that DJ Feathers not only meets the MAP guidelines, but in many areas exceeds them!
